Sometimes we don't feel so good. But thats easy to get out of: just pop in a Pride and Prejudice type movie (preferably more than 3 hours long) and make something. Forget Mary Poppins and her 'spoon full of sugar' idea. Follow my advice. Lock the door. Put your hair up. Don't talk to anyone. Pretty soon you'll feel better! And get a great headband out of the scenario.

I know. Another Anthropologie knockoff. So what? Count on many more to come. I was shopping with my Lala and found these gorgeous headbands that were wayyy overpriced, but very tempting. So why not make them? Its the answer to everything.

1. Fold a piece of paper 'hot dog' style 4 times. Follow the design below to draw and cut out a wave shape. Do this two times and tape them together in the middle. It should be about half an inch wide and 16" long.

2. Always have scraps of fabric lying around.
3. Glue, cut and snip the paper to the fabric. (We're just gonna leave it on there so that the headband stays stiff.)

4. Dab glue onto the wave, little bits at a time. Because we already snipped in the last step its easy-peasy to fold the fabric around the shape of the paper.

5. Once you've glued all the way around the headband stitch around the outside. This reinforces the edges and you can use any color of thread or type of stitch you want!
6. Repeat steps 1 - 5 with a different type of fabric that compliments the first. (You can use the same pattern, even... i guessss.) Then weave them together!
7. Sew the ends of the two waves together as well as the elastic to the bottom.
